Hot Day – DT Scrap our Stash

C: charms H: hearts A: arrows R: ribbon M: magic mesh

Farfar & jag, Scrap Our Stash

Halloj!

Vinterliv – Scrap Our Stash

The beauty of fall – SOS sketch +3 challenge

Here is the sketch, click to reach the challenge!

I have used:
1) Grey
2) Hashtag, harvest gold
3) indigo and index card
from the lists above.

The patterned pappers are: Pappersklubben (background) and Pink Paislee ‘Prairie Hill’. Stickers from Echo Park ‘Fall is in the air’, Bo Bunny ‘Forever Fall’ and Kaiser Craft ‘Take note’. Svenska ord from Inky Wings, letters and numbers random from my stash…

Plikta – Scrap our Stash

Back with a blog entry in English today. The wonderful blog Scrap our Stash hosts my favorite challenges, and yesterday I created this LO for the current Book Cover challenge:

My lovely niece turned 3 years a month ago <3. This photo from her birthday is taken at a special play ground. My inspiration from the book cover is the colors, and the combination of black and pastells was very fun to play with! The decorative paper clip is in my case the pumpkin colored heart in the middle of my LO.

Vår buse! ELO + SOS

The Swedish version of One Little Word has DJUR = animal as the word of the week and I just had to scrap about our cat, old Morris is 17 now and still a hunter 🙂

The Scrap our Stash challenge is this:

I noticed the cat in the picture (book cover) and then I knew I had scrap about our (old) cat. I was inspired by the different size of letters in the title and I also like the 3-some with a bigger one in the middle; I have used that form with my wood veneers – bird house and birds. Pop of yellows were perfect, I really like how that came out! Don’t think I would have used yellow if that wasn’t part of the challenge :-). Thanks for this great challenge, looking forward to the sketch, only a few days left <3.

My take looks like this, my brother’s lovely kids on display:

A lot of scraps from my stash… From the lists: 1 Gold (rhine stone bling and washi tape), 2 Hearts (felt border and flair), 3 Ivory (enamel dots).

The text in the bubble means ”My brother and I” and the text below the heart border says ”siblings”.

Thanks to the SOS team for this challenge, I had great fun creating my page!

Scrap our stash Challenge #36

Oh how I love these challenges! I jumped right on and scrapped this:

StashChallenge 36

I was inspired by some of the colors (and the mix of a lot of colors) and the banner. Gold I have a lot of among the embellishments in my stash…My take on the challenge looks like this:

I made this on the class last night, where I used a bingo row containing: buttons, tag, handwritten, arrows and bling. Other embellishments were allowed too. I had great fun mixing all these stuff! Gold: The title ‘Journey’, the letters S O L and numbers 03, mini punchinella and rhinestone bling.

The patterned paper with flowers and birds is very old and a gift from a friend, I have no idea of what brand it’s from.

The text is about me wanting sunshine all year round, the picture is from a holiday at the Lanzarote island…

Thanks for visiting, have a great weekend <3.

My take of this challenge is a picture of me from a quilt-class in 2005…
140914_kada_sykurs
(I’m sorry for the *blue* picture, I had big troubles with the photos of this LO…)
Among my treasures I found this notebook-sheet-looking paper from CI ‘creative cafe’ (2007) to match list A – a great start.
From list B I choose Paperclip (heart shaped), Ruler (a piece of ribbon) and both Alphas and Numbers.
The cute houses are fuzzy cut from a piece of paper scraps, don’t remember the brand of it. The scrapers Floss and the drawn stitches gave my LO the sew-feeling I wanted!
Many thanks for this challenge, hope to find time to make a try on the sketch as well.
Love, Kada
