Lovely Bloom

F- Fussy Cutting, I – ink, R-rhinestones, E-enamel dots, W-washi tape, O – orange, R-roller stamp, K- Kaiser Kraft (one color of rhinestones), S- Simple Stories Stickers.

Sommarkänsla med Scrap our stash

Fotona tagna i förmiddags! Resten av inlägget blir nu på engelska.

Finally I take time to scrap and what better than use the lovely sketch + 3 challenge from SOS?! My take looks like this:

My handwritten title means Summer Feeling. The photos are from today – I have an ego day and spend it at home – scrapping!
I have used the following items from the lists:
1) My Minds’s Eye (background paper is from the Alphabet Soup Collection)
2) Naples Yellow (a piece of paper from my ”forever” stash, no idea of brand…)
3) Olive (my journaling tag from Simple Stories diy journal layers -christmas)

The rest of the die cut paper pieces are from Bella Blvd Cute item boy. The vellum banner is from Kaisercraft. I have also used a washi tape and some wood veneers from my stash. Thanks for this challenge!

The great page with the challenge you find by clicking the image below 👍🏻😉

Sketch with Stash Challenge #17
Here’s the August Sketch:
(click image above to get to the challenge)
This challenge was created to get you to dig deep into your stash, so…
Complete a layout inspired by the sketch above…
AND75% of the product used to create your page must be from some of your OLDEST stash of paper and embellishments..the older the better.
You must note in your write up, what products you used from your older stash!
– – – –
I am pretty good to either use up or sell off stuff I don’t use, but I have some old treasures and I have used them now!
A Maja Design sheet from 2008 (Mina vänner-serien) together with some old paper scraps from Chatterbox and Karen Foster:
The sticker alphas are Beary Patch; I bought them to have in our wedding album – maybe in 2005? The Qk hearts, the dragonfly and the photo corners are also old stash; I was in a Qk die cuts swap group at Yahoo in my early scrap years – also around 2005 or so…
And motive? Hahaha, my little niece ❤ – the doll’s bed is the one I had when I was a little girl, so happy to give it to her 🙂 Just LOVE the photos of her putting the doll’s bed close to her own bed!
Take care everyone, see ya soon!

Sketch Challenge #14; Assi

On the very last day I finally found some time to scrap! I just loved the sketch ❤ AND I also found inspiration in a DT-LO by Robin ”16 days”. I wanted to scrap some of the photos I have of a little puppy-girl who got ill and died just 6 month old 😦

Well; here is the challenge:

Here’s the sketch:
Here’s how this challenge works:
Create a layout based on this sketch above.  You must create your own background by using cardstock, a stencil and/or mask and using some form of medium (ink, paint, etc) from your stash.
Please make sure you tell us how you created your background in your blog post! 🙂

Now to my take on this challenge:
I used a stencil and white gesso to make my snowflakes:
The patterned papers are one 6×6 sheet from the MME Cut and Paste collection, paper scraps from Bildmålarna (Sweden) and BG Eskimo kisses. The circle with a bear is also paper scraps but I don’t know the producer. I have also used some cardstock scraps, old rub-ons, brads, thickers, buttons, floss and a ribbon. How I love to go stash raiding!!!
Looking forward to the new challenge that comes on Sunday I think 🙂

Sketch with Stash Challenge #13 – Bollhav

And YES, I have made the sketch too! I did my page last night and left it to dry over night… And almost all day too as I have made other things today 🙂

Create a layout inspired by the sketch below and you must include the following stash items:
A) 3 or more patterned papers from 3 or more different collections and/or manufacturers.
B) 3 or more embellishments from 3 different collections and/or manufacturers.
C) Include one or more of the following items on your layout:
Corkboard, Chalkboard, or Corrugated board.
(This item does not count as one of your embellishments)
***When uploading your layout on your blog or gallery, you must list the collections/mfgs of each item you used for items in the A & B categories as well as note what item you used from the C category
Here’s the April Sketch:
You are allowed to add whatever else you want to your layout as long as you meet the requirements above.

My take:

Papers: March from Karen Foster, Cabana ‘starfish’ from Paper Salon, Zoe Click click from Love Elise, the yellow is Citron Sorbet from Maja Deisgn, the green with spots is Flower Field from YouDo.

Shimmer Shapes from Scrapworks
Glazed Brads from Papermania
Journal spot from JB Creative Team
Washing tab – unknown brand, guess I bought it 2004-2005
Foam Thickers from AC
Hampstead Adhesive Stones, Papermania
Word sticker ”unique” from Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alpa stickers
Washi tape from YouDo (red with hearts), the lime green of unknown brand…

I choose Chalkboard for the C category and included a mini card from MME Cut and paste collection.

Now this Easter Weekend is over and tomorrow is work – until Saturday, so I guess I’ll have to wait for ego scrappy time for a while…

Sketch with Stash Challenge #9 – fasters sötloppa

For this  challenge, you must:
1) Create a layout inspired by the STUCK?! sketch below
2) From your stash, you must Include any type of wood – veneers, stamps, paper, etc.
Here’s the sketch:
You can flip it, turn it, or change the size of the photo, as long as we can tell your entry was inspired by the sketch!!
I first found the left over pieces of the wooden paper, then some pieces of wooden flowers and a mini clothespin and voilá! This is the result – again with my niece,  + me this time 🙂
The August paper is from Karen Foster – ages ago… As old if not even older is the flowered paper from Chatterbox. I also found a piece of a double sided Mulberry sheet from The Paper Company. To this I have used fabric flowers, brads, rhinestones and pearls, buttons and other this and that laying around on my desk… The Title Sötloppan is a Swedish expression for a cute little girl, Sweet Flea it means. The text stripes are from the Sn@ap! Stickers Typeset – I love them as well as the alphabet stickers in the kit.
Thanks for this great challenge!
I love the sketch and link my take up to http://stucksketches.blogspot.se/ too!

Scrap around the world – LO: ”September”

I love the sketch and was inspired of the yellow and blue in the mood board. My colours went brighter after a while though… The background paper is from -05, has been in my stash for all that time… Finally it’s used!!! The letter stickers are also very old…

Here is my page:

Trevlig fredagskväll!

Kramiz Kada
